Killian’s Crossing is a 400-acre, mixed-use, lifestyle center located adjacent to I-77 and bound by Killian, Farrow, and North Pines Roads in the Columbia region. Cox and Dinkins provides surveying, civil engineering, and transportation services for the lifestyle center, in addition to performing the civil design for the anchor tenant, Kroger Marketplace, and other retail out-parcels.
Our transportation services for the development include: the design of two signalized access locations; road widening design and traffic pattern modifications to Killian and Farrow Roads, the design and permitting of over 4000 feet of internal roadways, and client coordination between SCDOT, Richland County, SCDHEC, and CORPS.
Cox and Dinkins water-sewer department assisted the transportation division to add approximately 3,000 feet of gravity sanitary mains, two lift stations, 1,000 feet of sanitary sewer force mains, and 3,000 feet of water distribution piping.
