Cox and Dinkins adds Landscape Architecture Services as John Champoux, RLA, LEED AP, Joins the Cox and Dinkins Team
Cox and Dinkins is pleased to welcome Mr. John D. Champoux, RLA, LEED© AP, to the firm as Director of Landscape Architecture. With the addition of Mr. Champoux to the firm, Cox and Dinkins will add Landscape Architecture to its scope of services. Mr. Champoux is a graduate of Cornell University with over twenty years of professional design experience in all aspects of landscape architecture, master planning and detailed site design. He also has an extensive background in grading and drainage issues and low impact sustainable design.
Cox and Dinkins is pleased to announce that Robert L. Echols, Jr. (Rob) has joined our transportation division. Mr. Echols has over thirty-three years of experience and has spent his entire career in the transportation industry designing and managing major roadway and bridge projects throughout the Southeastern United States. Mr. Echols graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1982 with his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. After earning his Professional Engineering License in 1985 and Professional Land Surveying license in 1987, Rob went on to become the Engineer of Record on some of the largest interstate construction projects in South Carolina, totaling over $1 billion in value. In 2005 Mr. Echols was appointed CEO of Florence and Hutcheson and served in that role for several years during the firm’s successful growth in the Southeast to over three hundred employees in ten states.
