In August 2011 Gene Dinkins, P.L.S., P.E. was elected to the position of President-Elect of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). His previous offices held with NCEES Southern Zone include Vice President (2007-2009), and Treasurer (2009-2011).
