LID (Low Impact Development) uses land planning, design practices, and technologies to conserve and protect natural resources while simultaneously reducing infrastructure costs.
LID is simple, economic and effective and will provide substantial benefits to the developer, community and environment. A few of the core principles that are used in LID are listed below.

Use of rain barrels and cisterns;
