Enga Ward joined the Richland County Planning Commission at it's April 2nd meeting. She will be serving on the Council until March 2011, a four year term. Ward, a Professional Engineer is recognized as being knowledgeable about development issues. She will focus on environmental issues and promote low impact development on future projects.

Enga has been the Project Engineer for over 6 years for a 309 acre mixed-use development, including Big Box retail, specialty retail, restaurants, and condos. Design services include planning, zoning, mass grading, utility infrastructure and roadways, and the overall stormwater system. She has been involved from initial preliminary planning through operational permits. Additionally, she coordinates meetings with local officials for ongoing communication and updates for the project.
